Tech Lead Tester

We are seeking an experienced tech lead tester to join our team. As a tech lead tester, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality automated tests in core technologies and leading technical discussions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright. You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people.

In this role, you will work closely with our development team to identify and prioritize test cases, create test documentation, and define test scope for the tested area and identify risk.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver automated tests in core technologies
  • Lead technical discussions
  • Create test documentation
  • Define test scope for the tested area and identify risk
  • Define and improve QA processes
  • Provide support to other team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation
  • Experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to use them in a practical way
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
  • Experience in API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
