Job Title: Senior Contract Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Professional to join our team. As a key member of our contracting function, you will play a vital role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that support successful project execution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Prepare comprehensive and enforceable agreements, review terms and conditions to identify risks and liabilities, and negotiate favorable terms while ensuring balanced risk allocation.
  • Risk Identification and Management: Proactively assess contractual, commercial, and execution risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk register. Provide early warnings to management regarding potential exposures.
  • Document Control and Reporting: Maintain an organized contract repository, including approvals, correspondence, and variations, track milestones, obligations, guarantees, insurance, and payments, and ensure audit readiness and transparency in reporting.
  • Continuous Monitoring and Support: Track key dates, provide regular updates to management and stakeholders, highlight deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Dispute Prevention and Resolution: Monitor performance and obligations to minimize conflicts, manage claims preparation and defense, engage in negotiations, settlements, or formal dispute resolution to safeguard organizational interests.

You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree (any stream)
  • At least 9 years of experience in contract management, negotiation, and risk assessment
  • Proven ability to manage documentation, reporting, and dispute resolution
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent commercial acumen
