Job Description

A Senior Legal Executive provides expert legal advice and support across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring seamless contract negotiations and data privacy compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts for various industries, including IT/software.
  • Providing in-depth legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer and vendor negotiation calls.
  • Handling complex data privacy matters, staying up-to-date with global regulatory developments.
  • Reviewing and drafting contracts specific to the India jurisdiction.
  • Developing and maintaining standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry.
  • Expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, and vendor agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation.
  • Knowledge of SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is advantageous.
  • Understanding of employment contracts and related matters in India is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
Negotiable Requirements

This position requires a minimum five-day office presence per week.
