About the Role:

The Security Supervisor is a pivotal member of our team, responsible for overseeing the punctuality and appearance of all Security Officers. This includes ensuring they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to our grooming standards. The Security Supervisor also monitors and motivates the performance of our Security Officers, ensuring they understand and adhere to employee rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and account for all inventories in the Security Office.
  • Record all occurrences of security interest in the log book for the information of the security personnel and management.
  • Send out Security Daily Report before off shift.
  • Handle all resident and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Maintain positive resident and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Focus attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
  • Ensure new technology and equipment are embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system.
  • Be fully conversant with every detail of the residences and Residences layout and the location and functions of:
    • Sprinkler system and smoke detectors.
    • Firefighting equipment and emergency exits.
    • Fire control room and fire indicator panels.
    • Emergency evacuation / public address systems.
    • Emergency assembly area outside residences.
    • Fire / bomb threat and security procedures.
    • Elevators.
    • Emergency phone numbers.
    • First aid equipment.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent resident relations and management skills.
  • Familiar with computer system and application software (Excel, Word).

Education:

  • Graduate from recognized university.
