Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical support for GIS mapping applications through multiple channels, including email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, data, and functionality issues, ensuring seamless delivery of geospatial solutions.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions, creating user guides, FAQs, and documentation that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative GIS solutions, leveraging spatial analysis and mapping concepts to drive business success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field, with a strong emphasis on spatial reasoning and analytical thinking.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical support for GIS applications, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Expert-level knowledge of GIS principles, spatial analysis, and mapping concepts, including proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate systems, with a strong understanding of data integrity and quality control.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear, actionable advice.
