About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented leader to oversee our quantity surveying operations across multiple projects.

Job Description:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and managing a team of quantity surveyors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the quantity surveying team to deliver high-quality results on residential and commercial projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budgets for new projects.
  • Oversee tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design, procurement, project management, and finance teams.
  • Provide timely management information reports and updates to senior leadership.
  • Develop and optimize quantity surveying processes, systems, and best practices for scale.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying; master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software/tools, MS Excel, and project management systems.
