Oracle Cloud PPM Project Manager Role

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project portfolio management, with extensive experience in implementing Oracle Cloud PPM projects. They should be familiar with the various modules such as Project Costing, Grants, Project Billing, and Project Contracts.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in project implementation with Oracle PPM modules.
  • Hands-on experience in at least three end-to-end implementations for the Fusion PPM modules, specifically Project Costing and Project Billing.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivables, as well as Intercompany Billing Configurations.

Benefits of working as a project manager for Oracle Cloud PPM include:

  • The ability to work closely with stakeholders to design and implement full systems.
  • Capturing customer business requirements and translating them into solutioning that fits within the customer's business environment and objectives.
  • Conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), mapping client requirements to base product functionality, effort estimation, and documentation using OUM or other methodologies.

This role involves reviewing and delivering functional design documents, technical designs, and configuration workbooks, as well as supporting testing, defects analysis, and defect fixes.

Liaising with Business & IT teams for functional specifications, executing System Integration Testing (SIT), supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training business and core users are also key responsibilities.
