Key Business Development Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading commercial strategies and driving business growth within allocated countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner Management
  • Analyze and interpret monthly stock forecasts from existing partners to ensure 6-month inventory availability, thereby minimizing risks and maximizing profitability.
  • Negotiate pricing and costs with partners for Rx and tender orders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tender received orders through seamless collaboration with the backend team.
  • Marketing and Conference Support
  • Develop and execute marketing plans with partners to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.
  • Coordinate the creation of promotional materials with internal medical teams, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • New Product Identification and Recommendation
  • Identify and recommend new product opportunities within allocated countries, leveraging market insights and trends.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive business cases for new product feasibility, seeking approval from regional heads.
  • Sales Order Execution and Monitoring
  • Resolve bottlenecks and issues hampering order execution through regular meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Validate all documentation related to an order and release it for fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cost Optimization
  • Submit annual budget reports and maintain pricing for every order, striving to achieve profitability targets.
  • Conduct thorough cost sheet audits and document checks to optimize costs factors such as freight and other expenses.

Educational Qualifications: MBA from a Leading Business School (Tier 1), preferably in International Business. Relevant Experience: 4-7 years of experience in business development within a pharma company, handling complex business regions, with 1-2 years of on-field exposure.
