Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Textile Designer to join our team. As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for creating original fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery, and textile designs that combine artistic skills with technical knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design Development
  • Create innovative fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery, and textile designs, including patterns, prints, weaves, and new materials.
  • Develop color palettes and experiment with dyeing techniques, laser techniques, and mixing of other materials.
  • Research trends in fashion, textiles, and consumer preferences.
• Material Selection
  • Select suitable fabrics and materials based on design requirements and functionality.
  • Source sustainable or innovative materials when needed.
• Technical Skills
  • Use design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to create digital designs.
  • Understand textile production processes, including weaving, knitting, printing, and dyeing.
  • Create technical specifications for manufacturers.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and manufacturers to ensure designs align with the overall vision.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand target audiences and market trends.
• Prototyping and Sampling
  • Develop prototypes and samples to test designs.
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and production feasibility.
• Quality Control
  • Ensure that the final textiles meet quality standards and design specifications.
  • Address any issues during production.
• Sustainability and Innovation
  • Explore eco-friendly materials and sustainable production methods.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in textile design.

Requirements:
