Global Learning & Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Learning & Development team as a Training Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education and training, with a proven track record of delivering quality learning experiences. They will be able to effectively prioritize competing projects, making trade-offs between depth and delivery as needed.

The Training Specialist will work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and other key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop tailored solutions. They will also be responsible for gathering, developing, and writing content based on process updates, interviews with stakeholders, and SMEs.

This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate learning solutions for diverse audiences. The successful candidate will have experience working with globally distributed teams and be able to adapt their approach to meet the unique needs of individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training sessions that enable associates to make faster decisions with zero defects.
  • Identify learning needs mapped to business outcomes by partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, training surveys, performance trends, feedback, and other key stakeholders.
  • Gather, develop, and write content based on process updates, interviews with stakeholders, and SMEs.
  • Revise course content based on metrics and feedback regarding the efficacy of the content.
  • Present engaging training material that facilitates effective learning progression.
  • Influence and manage relationships with associates, trainers, team managers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate the appropriate solution modalities to be utilized in training initiatives.
  • Provide input for success metrics and contribute to the evaluation of training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in a Learning & Development role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and facilitate learning solutions for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
  • Experience in e-commerce.
