Informatica Cloud Engineer

Coforge Ltd. is seeking an experienced Informatica cloud engineer to design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, data integration, and cloud computing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
  • Processing, transforming, and loading large datasets into AWS Datalake or other data stores.
  • Collaborating with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
  • Working closely with data scientists to build effective data workflows.
  • Creating and managing data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and consistency.
  • Optimizing pipelines for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Informatica and cloud-based analytics.

Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.

Experience with API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods.

Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code.

Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon).

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI. Working knowledge of Python & Experience in developing security models.

This role requires a unique combination of technical skills and soft skills. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
