Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary
  • Design and Implement Cloud Storage Solutions: Utilize cloud-based platforms to create scalable, performant, and cost-effective data storage systems.
  • Ensure Cloud Storage Systems Meet Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that data storage systems meet business requirements and are optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities Include:

Data Integration and ETL
  • Develop and Manage ETL Processes: Use cloud-based tools to develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring efficient data cleaning, transformation, and loading into data lakes.
  • Ensure Efficient Data Cleaning, Transformation, and Loading: Work with data scientists to create datasets for variety of use cases and implement data annotations, curation techniques to enhance data readiness for ML applications.
Big Data and Analytics
  • Utilize Big Data Technologies: Leverage big data technologies like cloud-based platforms and Apache Spark for data processing and analytics, creating data processing workflows and pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Create Data Processing Workflows and Pipelines: Design, construct, and maintain data pipelines and combine large, complex datasets that meet business requirements, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Optimization and Monitoring
  • Implement Effective Metrics and Monitoring: Ensure data quality and system performance by implementing effective metrics and monitoring processes, identifying internal process improvements and optimizing data delivery.
  • Identify and Implement Internal Process Improvements: Automate manual processes and optimize data delivery, collaborating with data and analytics experts to enhance data system functionality.
Collaboration and Support
  • Work with Stakeholders: Address data-related technical issues and support data-driven decision-making by working closely with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics Experts: Enhance data system functionality by collaborating with data and analytics experts, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
