Senior IT Expert Job

This job posting is for an experienced senior IT expert with a focus on technology expertise, specifically geared towards individuals who have experience in VPN, Networking, VMware, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as escalation point for complex issues related to VMware, Citrix, Networking, Azure, and Azure AD.
  • Design, implement, and support VMware virtualization infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize Citrix environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise networking.
  • Administer and secure Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory & Identity Services.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
  • Support migrations, upgrades, and large-scale infrastructure projects with minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3–5 years in Level 3 / senior engineer role.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts (especially Incident Management).
  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere suite.
  • Good to have experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, and ADC.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Advanced administration of Azure Cloud services and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with hybrid identity management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
  • Citrix Certified Associate/Professional (CCA-V, CCP-V)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert
  • Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Sonicwall, Pfsense)

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
