
In-House Compliance Specialist

About the Role:
This is a key member of the Legal Department with diverse legal skill sets. The candidate will work with highly skilled members of the legal team to provide legal & compliance solutions to business, particularly in management of technology and self-assessment based Enterprise wide Compliance management program for the entire Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight and implementation of seven pillars of an efficient and effective corporate compliance program with global and regional reach.
- Handling complex investigations on various issues, negotiating and implementing remediations.
- Achieving corporate compliance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to Compliance & Integrity Plan & its reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing changes.
- Familiarity and understanding of key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to the Group, including Whistleblower Regulations Anti Bribery - Anti Corruption, Anti Trust, Confidentiality, and commensurate processes and controls.
- Review and improvement of whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in close collaboration with HR.
- Planning, organizing, and conducting trainings and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program in line with best industry standards of cultural assurance.
- Interpreting new regulations and laws by reviewing and analyzing proposed and adopted state legislation and regulations.
- Deriving policy administration, trainings, and regular communications proactively.
- Effective handling of complaints and investigations and remediation process.
- Excellent collaboration with various functions like facilities, government relations, finance, HR, and sales & delivery functions to support the Group's expansion agenda.
- Providing advice on public policy, working closely with the Government relations team.
- Supporting company positions by developing company responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
- Compliance with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising executive management on needed actions.
- Identifying legal solutions to solve complex business issues and advising internal customers with precise and clear counsel.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with minimum JD along with relevant experience as compliance counsel.
- Possession of additional qualifications such as CA/CFA will be preferred.

- Experience in report development and policy and procedure development in a multinational environment with cultural and ethnic diversity.
- An interest in using technology for efficient program implementation.
- Analytical skills relating to business processes, data, and interpersonal relations.
- Public speaking and business presentation skills.
- Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards, including Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Trade Controls, etc.
