VAT Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with VAT compliance, reporting, and client advisory support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients, as well as assisting in VAT registration and deregistration processes. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records for client VAT accounts is also a key responsibility.

In addition, the VAT Compliance Specialist will assist in preparing VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications, review client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and respond to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff.

Staying updated on the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Part-qualified or pursuing a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a VAT or tax-related role.
  • Worked with UAE Clients or has UAE VAT knowledge.
