Senior Manager of Engineering

Job Description:

    Our organization is seeking an experienced Engineering Senior Manager to lead our engineering teams. This individual will oversee the day-to-day activities, manage software engineers and project managers, and collaborate with architects on major initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

  1. Manage application development standards, processes, and tools.
  2. Collaborate with direct reports to ensure consistency in service delivery across client groups.
  3. Facilitate compliance with standard application development tools and processes for all client groups.

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in application development leadership.
  • 7+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native solutions, microservices-architecture, and API orchestration architecture.
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, NoSQL, Spring boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, K8s, and Cloud.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, SEO, and more.
  • Strong understanding of API platforms, back-end services, database, and networking components of full stack infrastructure.

    Education and Certifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.

    Work Environment:

    This role will be based in Hyderabad, India, and will involve working in a hybrid environment.
