Sr. Cloud Data Architect

We're looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Sr. Cloud Data Architect.

Key responsibilities will include designing and implementing large-scale data architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging ETL processes, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

A successful candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of GCP services, including GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, DataProc, BigQuery, Airflow/Composer, and Python or Java programming languages.

Experience with data warehousing concepts, including beginner to intermediate level knowledge, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in database management, specifically SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as knowledge of batch and streaming data ingestion, pipeline design, and data visualization.

This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

  • GCP - GCS, PubSub, Dataflow or DataProc, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer, Python(preferred)/Java
  • ETL on GCP Cloud - Build pipelines (Python/Java) + Scripting, Best Practices, Challenges
  • Batch and Streaming data ingestion, build End to Data pipelines on GCP
  • Databases (SQL, NoSQL), On-Premise and On-Cloud, SQL vs No SQL, Types of No-SQL DB (At least 2 databases)
  • Data Warehouse concepts - Beginner to Intermediate level
