Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud platforms, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker. They will be responsible for conducting proof-of-concept (POC) and prototyping of cloud solutions, defining integration and security designs for web services and enterprise component development, and working on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Cloud Solution Architect will work extensively on AWS-EKS, create and manage Docker images, perform cloud cost analysis and estimations, apply best practices, and manage Kubernetes system services and worker nodes. They will also collaborate with senior architecture groups, internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives.

The successful candidate will have strong Linux/UNIX experience, hands-on experience in Terraform, and expertise in implementing AWS cloud security. They will also have knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management, as well as experience with network access control lists, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail.

Other key skills required for this role include:

  • A deep understanding of Kubernetes API and client libraries (Postgres, Redis, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A creative and analytical problem-solving ability
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS cloud platforms, Terraform, and other relevant tools.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) and prototyping of cloud solutions to ensure seamless integration and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration and security designs for web services and enterprise component development.
  • Work closely with senior architecture groups to develop and implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Manage Kubernetes system services and worker nodes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience with a focus on DevOps practices and tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools.
  • Expertise in implementing AWS cloud security, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and Route 53.
  • Knowledge of network access control lists, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior architecture groups, internal technology teams, and other stakeholders.
