Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to join our team. As a QA specialist, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests to ensure that our software meets the required standards. You will work closely with the development team to identify defects and collaborate on solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and execute tests to cover all aspects of the software, including functional and performance testing.
• Identify defects and collaborate with developers to create fixes and validate them.
• Analyze business requirements and identify suitable use cases for different testing phases.
• Create test cases/scenarios for various request and response combinations to explore data element variations.

Requirements:

• Core understanding of REST services and their methods (PUT, POST, GET, etc.).
• Familiarity with REST tools such as Postman or SOAPUI.
• SQL skills for data mining against databases to build test plans.
• API Testing knowledge.
• Proficiency in Java (preferred).
• Configuration/execution of Automated Regression testing.
• Agile Team/Safe Agile experience.
• Experience with JIRA.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in both Functional automation and Performance testing with industry-standard tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
