End User Computing Operations Specialist
This position involves overseeing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user computing devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user computing devices.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EUC strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize EUC infrastructure, including resource allocation, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards for end-user devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in end-user computing support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Citrix.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
Note: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are beneficial.
