Job Title

As a software quality assurance specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
  • Executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
  • Identifying and reporting defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Performing regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new issues.
  • Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise information about test results and defects.
  • Continuously enhancing and optimizing automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Participating in test plan and test case reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Collaborating with QA teams to establish and maintain test environments and test data.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in automation testing, and proposing their adoption in projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT, etc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA), proven experience as a software quality assurance specialist or similar role, strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices, proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools, and solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
