Job Title: Chartered Accountant for Hospitality Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our corporate finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality finance, with a strong understanding of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of multiple hotels and restaurants, including budgeting, forecasting, financial auditing, and compliance. They will also prepare financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Consolidate monthly and annual accounts across all hotels and F&B outlets.
  • Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management.
  • Compliance: Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level.
  • Standardization: Standardize accounting processes and internal controls across properties.
  • Liaison: Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Insight Generation: Provide actionable insights on cost management, revenue streams, and profitability improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA): With 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Prior Experience: In hospitality / multi-unit business is strongly preferred.
  • Sound Knowledge: Of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
