Job Description:

The role focuses on structuring affordable housing deals and securing funding from various government sources. The analyst will work remotely as part of a team, utilizing MS Excel for funding applications and MS Word and Adobe PDF for support documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare MS Excel based funding applications, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds, State, County, City funding sources
  • Develop support documentation for the funding applications
  • Monitor and track documents and checklists
  • Research new funding opportunities and expansion initiatives
  • Contribute to other aspects of development finance, including predevelopment and construction closing, conversion and compliance
  • Support general initiatives and special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, or Financial Research
  • Background in Financial Analysis, Project/Infrastructure finance, Credit Analysis, Valuation, Balance Sheet Analysis preferred
  • Degrees from US-based colleges and/or work experience in the US desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
