Animal Health Supplement Formulation Specialist

Job Overview:
A Formulation and Quality Control Specialist in Animal Health Supplements is required to establish our in-house manufacturing of pet syrups and tonics. This role involves developing formulations, managing production supervision, and ensuring quality control measures are met.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize formulations for dog and cat health supplements, including syrups, tonics, and nutraceuticals.
- Choose suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that are safe for consumption by animals.
- Oversee small-scale batch preparation, including mixing, filtration, filling, capping, and labeling.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to standard operating procedures for pet product manufacturing.
- Conduct basic quality checks on pH, clarity, taste/palatability, viscosity, and appearance specific to dogs and cats supplements.
- Approve or reject incoming raw materials, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal extracts.
- Manage stability samples and maintain quality records.
- Prepare and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards.
