We've developed an AI-driven platform that fundamentally changes the way an insurance company operates, with personalized risk scoring, faster underwriting, modernized claims, and proactive insights.
We've already proven our scale, reaching over $100 million in premiums and more than doubling year over year. Our data moat is growing exponentially, leading to more predictive models and new insights into how we can better understand and reduce risk.
Our leadership team has previously helped scale multi-billion-dollar companies from scratch, including Samsara, Rubrik, and Flexport. We're now looking for an Analytics Lead to join our Central Data team and help drive growth and efficiency through data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Own the analytics roadmap: Define, prioritize, and deliver solutions in risk monitoring, portfolio management, and business analytics.
- Lead full-cycle analytics projects: From scoping to delivery—set timelines, milestones, and drive execution.
- Build and scale the team: Hire, mentor, and grow analyst talent while instilling best practices in analytics, experimentation, and storytelling.
- Translate insights into action: Partner with leadership to influence product and business priorities with data-backed recommendations.
- Experimentation leadership: Design, run, and interpret A/B tests and other causal inference methods to measure impact.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with ML/engineering for observability & measurement, and with product/finance/insurance for strategic insights.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/mentorship capacity.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and analytics/statistical methods (EDA, hypothesis testing, regression, clustering).
- Deep experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference.
- Strong business acumen—able to connect analytics to portfolio performance, risk drivers, and business strategy.
- Experience designing and building metrics frameworks and analytics pipelines in high-growth environments.
- Exceptional communication skills—able to explain technical findings to both executives and technical peers.
