Document Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create user manuals for model libraries and tools methodologies.
  • Develop documentation in DITA XML using Oxygen Author, adhering to guidelines and building doc packages with standard templates.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and design teams to gather inputs and handle document reviews for completion.
  • Maintain accuracy of documents within short turnaround times.
  • Update documents as needed with changing customer requirements and technological advancements.
  • Track and collaborate with other technical writers for current and upcoming assignments.
  • Assist product development teams in reviewing and editing internal documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with XML code and Python code for creating and maintaining doc contents and required automations
  • Accountability for tasks responsible
  • Good team player
  • DITA XML authoring
  • Familiarity with XML code
  • Preferred: VS Code, Adobe Acrobat, MS-Office, Screen Capturing tool, Version Control System - GitHub
