Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a technology consulting and delivery company, we partner with businesses to unlock the power of their data, optimize their technology infrastructure, and drive data-driven success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate end-to-end data warehousing and ETL processes to cloud-based platforms.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Optimize database performance and reduce costs by leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Establish and enforce data quality, governance, and security standards within new platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and version control in cloud-based data platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practice.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and data warehouse performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related fields.
  • Deep expertise in migrating data platforms from on-premises/legacy systems to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses and ETL development tools.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python is strongly preferred).
  • Experience with cloud services and setting up data ingestion from various sources.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
