Automation Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled automation quality engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficient experience with 80-90% of the day spent on automation tasks.
  • Solid experience with Selenium/Playwright.
  • Proficiency in Python/Java programming languages.
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Background in API automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform automated testing efforts to ensure high product quality.
  2. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and DevOps to ensure alignment on quality goals.
  3. Identify and cover edge cases early in the lifecycle.
  4. Work with automation engineers to improve CI/CD pipeline integration and coverage.
  5. Proactively identify quality risks and own mitigation planning.
  6. Lead root cause analyses of production issues and drive systemic improvements.
  7. Report key quality metrics to stakeholders.
  8. Champion continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and test architecture.
  9. Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release retrospectives.
  10. Promote a strong customer-first quality mindset across engineering.
  11. Encourage self-learning within the QA team and stay current with modern QA tools and methodologies.
