About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend platforms.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and document findings clearly.
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Enhance test coverage, traceability, and defect visibility.
  • Support data validation to ensure consistent data quality across systems.
  • Advocate for and implement QA best practices across teams.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on Selenium automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Java, Python, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
