Sought after Experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to drive digital transformation and enhance our company's enterprise application environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • Work independently to delve into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to:
  • Debug existing AX customizations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL for informed decision-making.
  • Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server with precision.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration, driving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform thorough pre- and post-validation to guarantee data quality.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture is crucial.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization is essential.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts is vital.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions is necessary.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential.
  • Familiarity with other database systems, such as SQL Server or Oracle, is a plus.
