Fire Protection Specialist

As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of people and assets by designing and implementing effective fire protection systems. This includes sprinkler and gas suppression systems that meet international codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire fighting systems, including NFPA, TAC, NBC, and IS codes and standards. They will be proficient in AutoCAD, SprinkCad, Pipenet, and Fire Cad software, and have experience with suppression system design, particularly in India and APAC regions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing fire protection systems to meet local building codes and standards
  • Reviewing MEP drawings and tender specs to identify fire fighting requirements
  • Preparing fire fighting layouts and engineering BOMs
  • Ensuring quality assurance and defect-free fire fighting drawings delivery
  • Adhering to company processes and guidelines to execute projects within timeline

Requirements:

  • BE/M. Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics
  • 6-8 years of experience in relevant field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Domain knowledge of fire fighting and gas suppression systems
  • Ability to independently carry out designing of gas suppression systems like Novec, FM200, Inergen, Co2 systems, sprinkler, hydrant, water spray & special hazards, software hydraulic calculation, value engineering, and pump room design
