We're seeking an exceptional individual with expertise in accounts payable processes to join our team as a Management Trainee. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for maintaining accounts payable records, and providing clerical support necessary to pay the organization's obligations
  • Reviewing invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
  • Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
  • Checking vendor files for previous payments and assigning voucher numbers
  • Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and coding per accounting policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Relevant experience in accounts payable processes
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • ERP knowledge, such as SAP or PeopleSoft, is an added advantage
