**About the Role**

You will be a key member of our Contract Logistics team, bringing your leadership expertise and operational skills to drive Customer and Operational Excellence.

Your main responsibility will be overseeing the overall performance of an operational site, encompassing warehousing, customer service, and administration. You will work towards achieving all agreed financial and operational objectives in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Ensuring safety, cost, quality, delivery, environment, and people KPIs are met.
  • Overseeing the safe operation of warehousing activities and ensuring the necessary skills and training are in place.
  • Ensuring all operational activities comply with external and internal requirements/standards.
  • Leading office and warehouse activities at the site while inspiring others to learn and develop.
  • Driving activities related to customer onboarding, retention, and operational excellence.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing new initiatives for operational, service, and sustainable solutions.
  • Contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
  • Ensuring everyone involved in distribution activities delivers the right transport solutions.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in freight forwarding.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including customers, logistics suppliers, and teams.
  • Good communication skills.
  • IT proficiency.
