Wind Turbine SCADA Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine SCADA engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for commissioning and engineering wind turbine pitch systems, CMS, SCADA, and PPC.

Responsibilities
  • Perform site commissioning & engineering for Wind Turbine Pitch system, CMS, SCADA, and PPC.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of SCADA architecture with various interfacing protocol standards.
  • Understand and comply with industry standards including KPIs and grid compliance guidelines.
  • Foster smooth collaboration and communication with project stakeholders.
  • Implement ISO procedures and guidelines as per project requirements.
Requirements
  • B.E., B.Tech - Electrical engineering, Controls engineering, Power system and WTG site commissioning experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Wind Power Plant project SCADA, PPC, Pitch system commissioning.
  • Candidate should be versed with Wind park safety standards and should be GWO certified.
  • Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Wind Turbine equipment and IEDs independent commissioning.
  • Experience with designing and implementing control system configuration (as per system architecture).
  • Basics of Networking.
  • Hardware design (Control panels) and commissioning.
  • Programming Knowledge of C/Matlab.
