Renewable Energy Leader

Solar Power Plant leaders drive growth of renewable energy projects, overseeing project delivery, operations and maintenance excellence, and business development. This role involves setting up processes, executing hands-on tasks, and navigating regulatory approvals.

Project Leadership:
  • End-to-End Delivery: Own project design, procurement, and construction of solar installations.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Define technical specs, negotiate contracts, enforce quality and HSE standards.
  • Cost & Schedule Control: Use project management tools to monitor budgets and timelines; drive mitigation.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Secure necessary approvals, manage applications, site visits, and follow-ups with government agencies.
Operations & Maintenance Excellence:
  • Performance Framework: Establish a predictive O&M regime using SCADA analytics, preventive maintenance, drone inspections to secure high uptime.
  • KPI Reporting: Produce regular dashboards (performance metrics) for executive review.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process optimizations and cost-reduction initiatives across service providers.
Business Development & Financing:
  • Market & Bid Strategy: Identify opportunities under government schemes and commercial RFPs; lead bid preparation with competitive financial models.
  • Project Finance Expertise: Structure debt vs. equity financing, coordinate term-sheet negotiations, manage subsidy draw-downs, and maintain financial targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate partnerships with industry partners, regulators, and investors; support investor presentations and due diligence.
Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: 5+ years in solar or large-scale energy projects, with proven track record in leadership and direct interfacing with government agencies.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of project finance structures, subsidy integration, and financial modeling.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Demonstrated success securing approvals from local authorities through persistent follow-up and relationship management.
  • Technical & Financial Tools: Proficiency in project management software, SCADA platforms, and advanced financial modeling.
  • Strategic DNA: Comfortable as a hands-on leader driving initiatives with limited existing infrastructure.
