Solar Energy Sales Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Energy Sales Specialist to join our mission of making clean energy accessible to every home and business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales leads through effective networking, cold calling, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local sales partners in assigned districts to increase market penetration.
  • Provide expert consultation services to customers, explaining technical and financial aspects, conducting site visits, and preparing customized proposals.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and growth areas.
  • Manage sales performance, maintain accurate client databases, and ensure targets are consistently met.
  • Offer exceptional post-sales support and relationship building with clients to foster long-term customer satisfaction.

Deliverables:

  • Achieve a minimum of 30 kW solar sales per month in assigned districts.
  • Maintain and update customer and business associate databases.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from initial contact to post-installation support.
  • Submit regular sales reports and market penetration updates.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field, preferably with a focus on solar energy knowledge.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, technical understanding of solar systems, CRM proficiency, market research, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, problem-solving, and strong customer service focus.
