Job Overview:

This senior technical role represents a high level of expertise in product and solution development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing new features and fixing application issues related to custom products and combined solutions.

The COE-DEV is part of the Practice Development Team leading up to build and maintain the Solutions delivered by the Customer Support Organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the global CORE team to test customer solutions.
  • Research and develop test scripts to address new features and application issues identified in the field or in-house.
  • Help the CoE team adopt new resolutions and address any potential technical problems escalated as bugs.
  • Assist CoE Developers with solution-specific difficulties during new site commissioning, system upgrades and expansions.
  • Participate in power monitoring system testing development environment for release and pilot to contribute testing information, execute test scenarios and typical use-cases.
  • Resolve technical problems from internal test escalation about application engineers and engineering teams.
  • Identify and qualify code fixes and assist on the engineering team in understanding and resolving them.
  • Track cases using our CRM tool and Source repository (DEVOPS).
  • Contribute to documenting new solution features using our Knowledge Base tool.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Very good SQL Database querying and programming experience.
  • Experience in software, database and/or troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem solving.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm, self-motivation and customer focus.
  • Pleasant people skills and teamwork ability, enjoying cross-functional interaction required for this position.
  • Quick learning abilities with an inquiring mind.
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills in English language.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with people with a wide range of technical backgrounds.

  • Programming experience (5 years minimum).
  • C# HTML5 coding experience (Web Application).
  • Entity Framework, Angular JS knowledge.
  • Manufacturing Execution System experience (MES).
  • Understanding of SCADA and HMI standard.
  • An engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent.
