Lead Financial Strategist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Lead Financial Strategist to produce accurate and reliable accounting and financial information on a timely basis.
  • The successful candidate will ensure compliance with statutory accounts and returns related to local and international standards, as well as monitor all accounting and financial activities.
  • Key responsibilities include managing working capital and cash flow, monitoring customer credit and collection, and implementing and improving financial policies and procedures within the entity.
  • The ideal candidate will also communicate with senior leadership and partners on any fraud or compliance issues, manage internal and external compliance reporting and projections, and deliver value-added business analysis.
  • Additionally, they will prepare consolidated management reports for senior leadership, including monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and maintain awareness of financial performance versus plan.
  • They will also build the budget of the entity, coach and develop the finance team, and ensure that all members of the finance team are trained and up-to-date with local and international accounting regulations and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Requirements:
  • A Master 2 in Finance, Management, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Prioritised Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis methods and techniques
  • Expertise in IFRS, internal control principles, and closing/reporting processes
  • Organized, dynamic, autonomous, and having a strategic vision and strong financial knowledge
