Job Title: IT Plant Head

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT professional to lead our plant operations.

Location: Vellore, India.

Department: Formulations & API Manufacturing Plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Head the overall IT infrastructure, applications, and systems for the plant operations, ensuring smooth operation and maximum efficiency.
  • Support, maintain, and enhance IT operations to meet manufacturing and compliance requirements, adhering to industry standards.
  • Lead the site IT team for routine tasks, work closely with cross-functional teams and HO teams for system improvements and digital projects implementation.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of heading IT systems in a medium to large-scale formulation or API manufacturing facility.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and systems to support internal functions like production, engineering, quality control, and warehouse.
  • Manage servers, network components, and ensure information security measures.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical processes, GxP standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and HO departments for system issues, improvements, and new project implementations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in server management (Windows, Linux).
  • Strong knowledge of active and passive networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Expertise in information security, cyber security, and privacy security.
  • Adequate knowledge of OT-IT systems integration.
  • Exposure to various IT applications (SAP, eBMR, MES, QMS, LIMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Education:

  • B. Tech/B.E/B.Sc/BCA or above from a reputed institute.
