Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Specialist to accurately translate medical diagnoses, procedures, and healthcare services into standardized codes.

  • The successful candidate will work with healthcare documentation to ensure compliance with industry coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze medical records and documents.
  • Assign appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for clarifications when required.
  • Prepare reports and update databases with coded information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Life Science Graduates (B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, etc.)
  • MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, BUMS, or equivalent medical/paramedical background.
  • Freshers can apply.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Data Entry).
  • Good communication and ability to work in teams.
  • Certified Coders (CPC/CCA/CCS) preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
