Technical Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to manage a talented team of infrastructure engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our global hybrid infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. You will also provide hands-on technical guidance and act as a senior escalation point for complex issues and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our global hybrid infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on technical guidance, acting as a senior escalation point for complex issues and architectural decisions across multiple environments.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Drive the strategy and execution of automation initiatives to streamline processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.
  • DevOps Collaboration: Work with the team on Sprint planning and execution.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key technology vendors and communicate effectively with business stakeholders on performance, projects, and incidents.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure operations.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Good to have Professional certifications in cloud platforms.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL.
  • Experience with facilitation and coordination of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role managing infrastructure operations teams.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with hybrid cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • A solid understanding of DevOps principles and how to apply them in an enterprise infrastructure context.
