Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of R&D finance professionals and serve as the main point of contact between departments based in different locations.
  • Manage budget planning and research and development expenses, including variance trend analysis and risk assessment.
  • Support workforce planning by maintaining relevant data and assisting in staff requirements.
  • Master Data Maintenance involves managing financial master data across all systems to ensure accuracy and integrity, cost center creation, modification, and deactivation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A doctoral degree and 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience OR a master's degree and 8-10 years of accounting and/or finance experience OR a bachelor's degree and 10-14 years of accounting and/or finance experience OR a diploma and 14-18 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical biotechnology industry, team management, and operation in a multi-time zone environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to make decisions, build teams, and provide leadership, excellent discernment, and knowledge of business drivers.
