Job Title

We are seeking a senior category manager to lead our initiatives, focusing on strategic sourcing and process improvement across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for CAPEX purchases, including Port equipment, Civil & construction, Information Technology, and Engineering & renewable energy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the category.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of internal data, supply market trends, and key industry developments at a regional level.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
  • Analyse supplier offers, quantify total costs (TCO) and total values (TVO), and develop negotiation strategies.
  • Translate commercial content into contracts and manage contractual deviations during execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including performance management and SLA measurement.
  • Contribute to process improvements and governance, and support the implementation of digital solutions to drive efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and digital tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in category management or a related field
