Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Category Expert to drive strategic initiatives across CAPEX purchasing. This key role will oversee the development and execution of category strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement comprehensive category plans that optimize procurement processes and costs.
  • Analyze market trends and internal data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with business goals.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations, to secure best-value contracts.
  • Evaluate total costs and values of ownership to inform procurement decisions.
  • Translate commercial agreements into effective contracts.
  • Support contract deviation resolution and supplier performance management.
  • Drive improvements in procurement processes and governance.
  • Implement digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
