We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design and develop scalable, secure cloud solutions.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to join our team as a Cloud Architect. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, developing cloud-based solutions, and managing cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure according to best practices
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, NAT, VPN)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
