About the Opportunity

As a Private Markets Expert, you will co-manage end-to-end private markets solutions in partnership with internal teams and external managers. This includes supporting portfolio construction and asset allocation across strategies, partnering with internal and external investment teams to select and monitor investments, overseeing the investment lifecycle for various investment types, including primaries, secondaries, and co-investments, across private asset classes, including infrastructure equity & debt.

  • You will also support due diligence and manage the underwriting process for new investments, manage liquidity, capital deployment, and risk for private market solutions, monitor and report on portfolio holdings, including manager oversight, and represent your organization in client meetings and stakeholder discussions.
The Ideal Candidate
  • We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of relevant private markets investing experience, including infrastructure as a limited partner or institutional allocator, experience managing or supporting multi-manager portfolios in private asset classes, a proven record in institutional investment management and multi-asset team collaboration, experience with evergreen or semi-liquid fund structures and liquidity management, and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Broad experience as an institutional allocator in private equity, credit, and real assets, proficiency in portfolio construction, capital allocation, and risk management, underwriting experience for co-investments and fund investments, including general partner assessment, understanding of infrastructure sectors and asset types: renewable energy, digital infrastructure, logistics, and social infrastructure, familiarity with semi-liquid fund structures, comfort with valuation oversight, performance analytics, and reporting for private assets, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, ability to explain investment concepts to audiences, professional presence for client meetings and due diligence, integrity and professionalism in fiduciary roles.
