Job Title: Data Center Operation Lead

The role of a data center operation lead is a highly demanding position that requires an individual with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our data center, guaranteeing high availability and performance.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Policies and Procedures: Implement and enforce data center policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various teams to support project deployments and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Proactively monitor data center infrastructure and services, addressing issues before they become critical.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Proficient in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
