Employee Relations Specialist

The role of the Employee Relations Specialist is to develop and implement effective employee relations practices within an organization. This involves building strong relationships with employees, managing complex employment-related issues, and providing guidance to management on key decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with employees
  • Implementing effective resolutions to employment-related issues
  • Providing guidance to management on complex employee relations matters
  • Evaluating and reviewing employment decisions in response to employee concerns
  • Generating business leads and opportunities through referrals and redeployment by networking with employees
  • Designing and implementing trending analysis and employee relations metrics models

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good decision-making and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Bonus points if you have experience in marketing and promoting services, expertise, and knowledge effectively to clients and candidates. An academic HR background is also a plus.
