Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned SRE professional to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, driving, and implementing our SRE strategy. This includes promoting an "Automate-first" culture in operating services, reducing toil, developing methodologies and strategies for identification of toil-heavy and inefficient processes, and automating and eliminating toil, delay, and redundancy in such processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help define and implement our SRE strategy
  • Promote an "Automate-first" culture in operating services
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying and addressing toil-heavy processes
  • Implement automation and elimination of toil, delay, and redundancy in processes
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve efficiency and quality
  • Work with all parties to develop and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services
  • Define monitoring strategy and implement appropriate capabilities
  • Design and implement reliability improvements
  • Conduct capacity planning
  • Perform chaos engineering exercises
  • Lead architectural reviews for reliability
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on SRE practitioner with 5+ years working experience in SRE role
  • Practical experience defining and implementing SLOs and operating under Error Budgets
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems
  • Experience in corporate software development lifecycle methodology
  • Skillful use of infrastructure as code principles and design
  • Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles and ability to evangelize
  • Working knowledge of modern observability tooling and associated projects
  • Extensive knowledge of configuration management solutions
