Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced senior leader to fill the role of Site Reliability Engineer at a Global Financial Services Firm.
With 12+ years of experience, you will be responsible for defining and implementing SRE strategies, promoting an "Automate-first" culture in operating services through reduction of toil.
- Develop Process Methodologies: Develop methodologies and strategies for identification of toil-heavy and inefficient processes, and for the automation and elimination of toil, delay and redundancy in such processes.
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery.
- Establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs): Working with all parties, develop and implement SLOs for critical services.
- Define Monitoring Strategy: Define monitoring strategy with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities.
- Implement Reliability Improvements: Design and implement reliability improvements.
- Conduct Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning.
- Perform Chaos Engineering Exercises: Perform chaos engineering exercises.
- Lead Architectural Reviews: Lead architectural reviews for reliability.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement from incidents.
